Run your madrasa with barakah, not spreadsheets.
Hidayah is the all-in-one management platform for Islamic schools, Quran academies, and madaris. Track students, mark attendance, collect fees, and keep parents informed — all from one place.

What's included with online payments. Hidayah handles the full payment infrastructure on your behalf — automatic retries on failed payments, refund and chargeback handling, fraud monitoring, and daily reconciliation.
Stripe's standard processor fees apply per rail:
- UK BACS Direct Debit — 1%, capped at £4 per transaction (most schools' first choice — by far the cheapest)
- Card payments — 1.5% + 20p per transaction
Hidayah adds a 0.3% platform fee on top, applied to both card and BACS Direct Debit payments. Offline payments (cash, bank transfer) recorded in Hidayah carry no Hidayah fee.
Frequently asked.
Do parents need to download an app?
No. Parents sign in via a web link to your school's subdomain (e.g. your-school.hidayah.me) on any phone or computer. We may release a mobile app later, but the web portal is fully optimised for phones today.
How does fee collection actually work?
Online payments are processed by Stripe — the same payments provider used by hundreds of thousands of UK businesses. Parents pay by card or BACS Direct Debit; funds settle directly into your school's bank account. You can also record cash and bank-transfer payments collected offline.
Are there any fees on top of the subscription?
Yes — transparently. Stripe charges its standard processor fees per rail: 1% capped at £4 for UK BACS Direct Debit (the cheapest option, and what most schools choose) and 1.5% + 20p for card payments. Hidayah adds a 0.3% platform fee on top of both, which covers the payment infrastructure: automatic retries on failed payments, refund and chargeback handling, fraud monitoring, and daily reconciliation. Most UK madrasa software takes 1–2% commission on every payment — we take 0.3%, just enough to keep this infrastructure running. Cash and bank-transfer payments recorded in Hidayah carry no Hidayah fee.
Is the data of our students kept private?
Yes. We treat student and family data as strictly confidential and design the platform with UK GDPR principles in mind. Each madrasa's data is fully isolated from other organisations using the platform. Read our privacy policy for full detail.
Can we use it for a weekend-only madrasa?
Absolutely. Many of our schools run only on Saturdays and Sundays. You can configure class schedules to match — there's no expectation that students attend every day.
Do you support Hifz tracking with Surah / Ayah?
Yes. Teachers can log Hifz progress per student down to the Surah and Ayah level, alongside Qaida and Tajweed progress notes. Parents see this in their portal.
What if we already collect fees on paper or by bank transfer?
That's fine — Hidayah supports recording offline cash and bank transfer payments alongside online ones. Many schools start by tracking offline fees in Hidayah and gradually invite parents to pay online when they're ready.
Who owns the data?
You do. The madrasa is the data controller; Hidayah is the data processor. You can export your data at any time, and we will return or delete it on request if you stop using the service.
